Seminars Held on the Interpretation of the Decrees of His Excellency Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Preserve Him) and the Role of Standards in Development.

Today, Monday, the Academic Affairs Office of the Afghan International Islamic University organized two academic seminars under the titles: Interpretation of the Decrees of His Excellency Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Preserve Him) and The Role of Standards in Development. The seminars were attended by deputy heads of the university’s administrative units and faculty members from various departments.

In the first session, the topic of interpreting the decrees of His Excellency Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Preserve Him) was presented by the Deputy for Academic Affairs, Pohandwal Dr. Abdul Wahid Liaqat. He provided comprehensive insights into harmful customs and inappropriate traditions associated with wedding ceremonies, emphasizing that society must be protected from practices that contradict Islamic values. He further stressed that all aspects of life should be organized and conducted in accordance with the principles and rulings of Islamic Sharia.

Subsequently, Dr. Mohammad Khuran, a faculty member of the Faculty of Engineering, delivered a seminar titled The Role of Standards in Development. He presented detailed information on the concept, types, significance, and impact of standards across various sectors, highlighting the importance of implementing standardized principles.
At the conclusion of the seminars, participants shared their views and recommendations on the discussed topics.
The administration of the Afghan International Islamic University remains committed to promoting quality and standardized education while paying special attention to the principles, values, and regulations of Islamic Sharia, and to fostering an environment conducive to both academic and moral development.
