Academic Seminar Held on Air Pollution, Environmental Protection, and Energy Conservation.
An academic seminar entitled “Air Pollution, Environmental Protection, and Energy Conservation” was held on Monday by the Center for Professional Development of Academic Staff, under the Academic Affairs Deputyship, in collaboration with the Office Affairs Directorate of Afghan International Islamic University (AIIU).
The seminar was attended by university professors, administrative staff, and service personnel.
At the beginning of the event, the Deputy for International Relations, Mufti Rizwanullah Munib, welcomed the participants and delivered a comprehensive speech on air pollution, environmental protection, and energy conservation.
He emphasized that everyone has a responsibility to pay due attention to environmental protection and promote energy conservation in their daily activities.
The seminar was presented by Samiullah Muhammadi, Director of Planning and Policy. He provided detailed information on various topics, including the concept of air pollution, its major sources, preventive measures, energy conservation, reducing energy consumption, and other related issues.
It is worth mentioning that Afghan International Islamic University continuously strives to organize such academic seminars to enhance public awareness among its staff and students.
