Introduction to the Faculty of Engineering

Engineering is an important and valuable part of science and natural sciences all over the world, especially in Afghanistan, because due to the past decades of disasters, natural disasters and wars in Afghanistan, a large number of infrastructure buildings and structures such as bridges, roads, dams, and other structures are either destroyed or non-existent for which engineering faculty is vital for its construction.

 

Since all national and private universities and institutions only train bachelor level personnel, it was deemed necessary to establish a Faculty of Engineering at the Afghan International Islamic University with the approval of three departments (Industrial Engineering, Structure Engineering and Geology & Mines) for training master's and doctoral level professionals to respond positively to future scientific demands.

The Faculty of Engineering, will be started with highly experienced professors, staff, student-oriented and market-based curriculum, equipped laboratories, experimental areas, research facilities, broadcasting facilities, etc. in order to be committed and Experienced personnel who are professionally responsive to the multifaceted demands of today's modern world are presented to the society and become the cause of the country's economic development in the professional field.

 

Vision:

Training highly ethical, competent, and creative professionals to be responsive to research, economic, and technological changes and have high leadership capabilities, thus making an important contribution to the economic stability of the country.

 

Mission:

Fostering a systematic educational, teaching and research environment for the best engineering education so that engineers with strong professional knowledge and complete specialized skills can be presented to the modern world.

 

Objectives:

 

  1. To produce outstanding graduates with creative, innovative and positive mindsets;
  2. To play a role as an authoritative body in the field of engineering information and to play an important role in the creation of national engineering laws, regulations, and codes;
