A scientific seminar entitled “Explanation of the Decrees of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him)” was held.

A scientific seminar was presented under the title “Explanation of the Decrees of Amir-ul-Mu'mineen (may Allah protect him).”

A one-day seminar was held for the vice-chancellors, as well as the national and international lecturers of the Afghan International Islamic University, under the title “Teaching and Explanation of the Decrees Issued by Amir-ul-Mu'mineen (may Allah protect him) Against Harmful Social Customs.”

The seminar was delivered by the Acting President of the Afghan International Islamic University, Dr. Rafiullah Atta, in the university’s conference hall. During the session, he discussed one of the decrees concerning the elimination of harmful customs — particularly the prevention of unnecessary wedding expenses, excessive dowries (mahr), and un-Islamic traditions practiced during marriage ceremonies.

It is worth mentioning that the decree of Amir-ul-Mu'mineen (may Allah protect him) regarding the prevention of harmful customs will be taught twice a week to the university’s vice-chancellors and national and international lecturers by the university’s president, Dr. Rafiullah Atta.
