The regular meeting of the General Curriculum Committee of the Afghan International Islamic University was held under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul Wahid Liaqat.

The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by opening remarks from Dr. Liaqat, who emphasized the importance of standardizing, reforming, and strengthening the academic curriculum.

The meeting proceeded according to the agenda. During the session, the new master's degree curriculum in Structural Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering was approved, and the new PhD program in Industrial Engineering was also endorsed. Additionally, a special committee was appointed to review curricula and policy documents, and a joint monitoring committee was formed to oversee the implementation of approved curricula. Decisions were also made regarding the evaluation of books that were either rejected or required revisions.

This regular meeting was organized by the Academic Affairs Office of the Afghan International Islamic University to assess existing curricula, implement improvements, and approve new academic programs. Such meetings are essential for improving educational quality, enhancing coordination, and maintaining academic credibility.
