Two scientific seminars were organized by the Directorate for the Professional Capacity Building of Faculty Members under the Academic Affairs Vice-Chancellorship of the Afghan International Islamic University.
These seminars, held under the titles Explanation of the Decrees of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect and preserve him) and Methods of Acceptance, Criteria, and the Logic of Article Structure in International Scientific Journals, were attended by members of the University Scientific Council and professors from various faculties.
At the beginning of the program, Pohandwal Dr. Abdul Wahid Liaqat, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, delivered the opening remarks and presented a detailed presentation on teaching and explaining the decrees of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect and preserve him). In his speech, he elaborated in detail on the decree concerning discretionary punishments, which is among the ratified decrees.
Subsequently, Pohandwal Dr. Muhammad Tahir Sabet, a professor at the Faculty of Sharia, delivered a seminar entitled Criteria, Methods of Acceptance, and the Logic of Article Structure in International Scientific Journals. He provided comprehensive remarks on the value of scientific articles, the structure of a standard academic paper, and the fundamental principles for acceptance in international scientific journals.
At the end of the program, a special session was allocated for questions and answers between participants and presenters, during which satisfactory responses were provided to the questions raised.
It is worth mentioning that the administration of the Afghan International Islamic University continuously strives, through various scientific and professional programs, to explain the decrees of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect and preserve him) and convey them to different segments of society.
