Scientific Seminars Held on the Interpretation of the Decrees of Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Protect Him) and Strategic Planning at the Faculty Level.
Today, Saturday, two scientific seminars were held by the Professional Development Center for Lecturers under the Academic Affairs Deputy of the Afghan International Islamic University. The seminars were conducted under the titles “Interpretation of the Decrees of Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Protect Him)” and “Development of Strategic Plans at the Faculty Level.” Members of the University Leadership Council and professors from various faculties participated in these seminars.
The first seminar was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Abdulwahid Liaqat, Deputy for Academic Affairs at the Afghan International Islamic University. He explained and elaborated on the Law of Preachers, which is among the endorsed decrees of Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Protect Him).
In this seminar, topics such as the definition of a preacher, qualifications of a preacher, ethics of preaching, methods of (invitation to Islam), responsibilities of preachers, duties of departments and administrations, and other related subjects were discussed in detail.
The second seminar was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Ismail Hashemi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, in which key topics related to strategic planning were discussed.
He thoroughly explained the necessity of strategic planning, its importance, objectives, planning methods, prioritization, and other related aspects.
It is worth mentioning that these seminars were organized by the Academic Affairs Deputy of the Afghan International Islamic University to enhance the scientific and professional capacity of lecturers, strengthen effective administrative planning, and further improve academic affairs.
