Scientific Seminars on the Explanation of the Decrees of the Commander of the Faithful (May Allah Protect Him) and the Study of University Generations in the Higher Education System Were Held

The Scientific Affairs Department of the Islamic International University of Afghanistan organized seminars under the title “Explanation of the Decrees of the Commander of the Faithful (May Allah Protect Him) and the Study of University Generations in the Higher Education System.” Faculty members, administrative officials, and university leadership participated in these academic sessions.

At the beginning of the program, the Vice Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul Wahid Liaqat, welcomed the participants and spoke about the objectives and significance of these seminars. Then, Dr. Abdul Wahid Liaqat presented an explanation of the decrees of the Commander of the Faithful (May Allah Protect Him). He discussed various aspects of the decrees in detail and particularly emphasized the importance of prayer and the virtue of performing it in congregation. According to him, prayers should be performed in congregation because doing so carries greater reward and a broader social impact.

Following this, another scientific seminar titled “Study of University Generations in the Higher Education System” was presented by the faculty member of the Engineering Department, Associate Professor Dr. Arif Naeemzad. In his remarks, he stressed that in the new generation of universities, special focus should be placed on scientific research, innovation, and practical skills so that educational institutions can effectively meet the real needs of society.

In the final part of the program, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their views, which were comprehensively and satisfactorily addressed by the seminar presenters.

The Islamic International University of Afghanistan, within the framework of Islamic values and higher education policies, organizes such seminars to promote scientific and intellectual growth and to ensure the practical implementation of leadership decrees while strengthening the academic development of university generations.
